If you are a resident of the Cayman Islands, your marriage will be performed under the authority of the Banns of Marriage. To qualify as a resident for marriage purposes, you must have lived in the Cayman Islands for more than 15 days.

- A valid passport, or a birth certificate together with government-issued photo identification (such as a voter's ID card)
- Final divorce decree(s), if either party has been previously married
- Death certificate of a former spouse, if applicable
- Proof of immigration status
